Pathtags in Texas State Parks

Texas State Parks is bringing a fun and challenging geocaching activity to adventure seekers and beginners alike.  The Statewide Texas State Parks Geocache Challenge kicked off earlier this summer and has been very popular, with more than 2,500 logged finds in just two short months; awards include geocoins and limited edition Pathtags.  In addition to the Geocache Challenge awards, a series of commemorative, park-themed Pathtags will be introduced for purchase in September at many Texas State Park Stores.  These Pathtags will become part of an exciting mix of products already available for sale to help commemorate your park visit; you'll find items such as patches, hiking stick medallions, t-shirts, and more.  Read the full article fore more details on how Pathtags are being used to attract visitors and reward participation in their park programs, as well as for a list of parks who will have custom Pathtags for purchase in their shops!

ExploreWV Main Street Challenge

From the Main Street WV Challenge Web site:

ExploreWV's second challenge is the Main Street WV series, which takes geocachers to all 12 of West Virginia's registered Main Streets. Geocachers will be able to experience small town charm while traveling the length of the Mountain State. Unlike previous ExploreWV challenges, Main Street WV (MSWV) does not require a Playcard. Instead, there are "Surprise to Find" gifts located in each of the 12 geocaches that contain gift certificates and coupons to local businesses. There will also be plenty of limited-edition Main Street PathTags dropped in each cache for unsuspecting geocachers to find.  PathTags are trackable online through www.pathtags.com

Another great program taking advantage of the affordable custom quality Pathtags offers to give Geocacher incentive to participate in their great program.

Georgia State Parks' Geo-Challenge Awards Cachers With Pathtags

"I started geocaching only about 4 1/2 months ago, and went to my first event when I only had 2 finds under my belt. I met a lot of nice people there, one of whom had brought his collection of over 300 pathtags. Of course I was curious about these little pieces of art, and asked to take a look at his collection. Right then, I just knew that I had to have my own! Later the same evening, I was given a signature tag by the tag's owner, and that only confirmed my desire to get my own! I resisted the temptation to hastily design my pathtag, but within 2 months I had placed an order. The blueprint confirmation process was a bit problematic for me, but now that my tags are here, I am absolutely thrilled with them! I'm so proud of the way they turned out, and am enjoying face-to-face trading with geocaching friends, and a little bit of trading through the mail so far. I can tell already that I will have to come up another design or 2 (or 3, or 4...)!"

"I've received today my tags and..... they are incredible. It was my first design and I was worried because the images are too small but when I've seen them I've realized how perfect the little shapes are. Great work. Thank you very much."

"Within a few weeks of finding my first pathtag I had ordered my own tag and before I even had this one in hand, I'd ordered the next one! I'm hooked. Still can't believe how much detail you can cram into such a small area."
