Tag #21215 - Jah Sun

Jah Sun is my favorite artist in the whole wide world! Not only does his music have a great, uplifting beat to it, the lyrics are incredibly moving! Too many of us want to complain about what's going on in the world today, but then we do nothing about it... Jah Sun's committment to conscious living and his dedication to global and social healing is evident in his songs. The spirituality in his songs, make you want to sit back and take a long look in the mirror.

His first album, "The Height of Light" came the haunting but loving ballad "Circles and Cycles", and the hit "Fiya Dance" which aired on MTV's Laguna Beach series. But the whole album is full of incredible, spiritual, and soul searching tunes.

His third album, "Battle the Dragon" which just released, is almost beyond description! Every time I listen to it, I am truly amazed at the level of talent, wisdom beyond his years, and the way he can just paint pictures with so few words. But I think the most amazing thing, is the way his love and compassion for the youth, for you, for me, for the world as a whole, just floods his music. He offers solutions/answers to some of the problems our world is facing today,"...we need love and unity, more than hate and jelousy"..
