This is a fundraiser tag for the 2012 Ride For Roswell, a local event (to Buffalo, NY) in which participants raise funds for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Funds are used to help discover a cure for cancer and also to assist patients fighting the disease. The Ride is also a celebration for those who have survived or are fighting cancer, and also to remember and celebrate lives lost to the disease.
You may have heard of Roswell Park in the news recently, as there has been good results with a vaccine they recently developed!
On June 23, I will be participating in the Ride and hope to raise more funds than previous years. This tag will be available for purchase only at $5 each (Please add a dollar if you are ordering from out of the US) with all proceeds going to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute. It will not be available for trades.
If you would like a tag please contact me through my profile with your email address and I will give you the link to make the donation to. Paypal is OK, but as you know-they take their cut. I will also need the address you would like the tag(s) sent to. As of now I have 45 tags. If there is enough interest I will have more made.
Thank you for your interest. This charity is very close to me, as I have lost many friends and loved ones to cancer. Please help us find a cure.
