I took a photo of this manhole cover in the City of Burghausen, Bavaria whilst in Germany in 2008. The original was in the usual all metal finish with no colour, but I decided to include the blue and white to reflect the Bavarian state flag. The design has been beautifully interpreted for me by Chris Mackay of Aura Design Group.
Burghausen lies on the Salzach River adjacent to the border with Austria. It is the home of Europe's longest castle, which I have visited several times. The city has a lovely Altstadt, with cobbled roads and old buildings as well as a vibrant modern, shopping area.
Burghausen has been hosting a week long Jazz festival for over 40 years and other jazz events also take place there throughout the year.
If you found this Pathtag in a cache you may keep it or put it in another cache - whichever you prefer, it's up to you! Pathtags are highly sought after personal swap items, which some people collect. Whilst they can be logged here at the Pathtags website, so I can see where people have found them, they are not trackable at the Geocaching.com website.
Toll, dass du meinen Pathtag gefunden hast. Du kannst ihn gern behalten und hier auf der Pathtagwebseite loggen. Ansonsten kannst du ihn einfach wieder in einen Cache tun.
