A Copper version of my first tag (#10088) for 2010.
The design is pretty simple (it had to be. I'm no artist).
- A Tree. (BTW, a stagetree is an obscure Science Fiction reference for those who were wondering)
- The Southern Cross. I’m an Australian Geocacher and I couldn’t go past this iconic star constellation to represent that.
- The background colours. I chose these from a photograph I took of a spectacular stained glass dome at a maccamob cache
( GCGWBQ - Boroondara Mahal) in my home city of Melbourne. The ruby glass would have been made using Australian gold and fairly glows in even a little amount of sunlight.
If together these elements give the impression of a central desert sunset then that’s OK. I’ve seen my share of those as well in a previous line of work.
This tag will be given to all those who cache with me (stagetree) and dropped in some of the great caches we do. Perhaps to inspire others to create a tag as happened to me.
Also available to swap (while I have enough) for other Aussie or NZ tags I don't already have.
I will consider trading overseas but would prefer multiple trades to keep the postage costs down. (Hey!! I'm trying to save up for a new tag. OK. ;-)
