Tag #11862 - Deadliest Catch "Captain Phil" R.I.P.

This tag is made in honor of Captain Phil Harris of the F/V Cornelia Marie.  The Cornelia Marie and Phil made word wide fame through the Discovery Channel's popular television show "Deadliest Catch".  This program showed the job of the Alaskan Crab fisherman, the job considered to be the deadliest in the world due to the high number of accidents and tragic deaths that occur each season.  Phil was one of the shows most colorful and popular figures as he Captained the mighty F/V Cornelia Marie to the dangerous waters of the Bering Sea in search of delicious crab.  Phil smoked like a freight train, drank coffee and Red Bull like it was water and blew his stack when something didn't go the way "the captain" wanted it, but he took time to laugh, pull off jokes and show he was a really cool customer especially after the catch. Phil died on February 9th 2010 from complications of a massive stroke he suffered on January 29th 2010, he was just 53 years old.  Fans of the show will miss him.  I know I'll sure miss his face on my TV screen.  R.I.P Phil.
