I AM ALL OUT OF THESE TAGS; THERE ARE SOME STILL FLOATING AROUND CACHES IN PA THOUGH...

This is a very simplified version of an AP engraving print from my recent exhibit "Dead Birds and Fear" for the First Friday April art opening at Anthology in Scranton, PA. It's one of my 2 first signature tags.

This guy sits in the ornithology wing (affectionately dubbed, the Dead Bird Room) at the Everhart Museum in Scranton. They boast one of the largest collections including over 2300 specimens. I sat and sketched them for 52 Sundays and they never moved or came out of their beauty to laugh at the drawings. The drawings were then taken home and engraved in acrylic plates, inked, wiped, and run through a professional press to produce limited runs or series of master prints for exhibition and sale.
