Tag #9634 - Baby Maple

About the time we were trying to design our first pathtag, one of our draft mares had her baby. So it only seemed fitting, with our geocoins and sig nickels having the older horses on them, that this pathtag feature the new arrival. This is our new foal, Maple. She was born 6/17/09 and is half Belgian and half Clydesdale. She weighed nearly 200 pounds at birth. She will weigh about a ton when fully mature. Wafflesdad took his caching name from Maple's mom, Waffles, a Belgian. Go ahead and groan now. Waffles was the first foal born after we were married and she is very much HIS horse. Update 11/27/09: We are almost completely out of Maple tags. We will not be ordering a refill at the present. Watch for more tags featuring the critters.

More updates 12/26/09: I still haven't completed the 50 state challenge, so I ordered one more refill. Sigh.
