Tag #23541 - Florida - NOT just The Mouse!!

I've lived in Florida for years and generally when I tell people I live near Orlando, they say "Oh, you must LOVE that.  You probably go to Disney World ALL THE TIME".  No, I don't, and frankly, I get a little tired of "The Rat" (as I call him).  Florida is soooo much MORE than that silly mouse.  My favorite Florida character is the alligator, though he has no theme park of his own.  He can be found in most any river, lake, pond or canal around Florida and I thought it would be fitting for him to make a meal of the mouse.  I hope you true Disney fans aren't offended!!  I'd rather jump in my little yellow kayak, paddle down the Econ River and spy a lazy alligator lounging on the riverbank than fight the crowds and lines at Disney World any day of the week!!!  They say "A fed alligator is a dead alligator" so PLEASE, DO NOT FEED THE ALLIGATORS if you come to visit us.
