Tag #20017 - Sledges - RETIRED

This is not PTX tag :-).

My tag is based on the picture made by Josef Lada (1887 - 1957). Josef Lada was famouse Czech painter and writer. He wrote stories for children, his most beloved character is Cat Mikes, who could speak. For small children Lada wrote and illustrated books with rhymes and sayings. Worldwide he is known for his illustrations of Jaroslav Hašek's World War One novel The Good Soldier Švejk. Ha was born in the small village of Hrusice in a cobbler's family, and despite he left to Prague in the age of 14, his home-village was written deeply in his heart.

My favorite pictures are the ones from Hrusice, about everyday life, children playing in the fields. THe most favorite ones are the winter scenes, as is on this tag. These pictures are often used as Christmas cards and if you will trade with me and will be the lucky one, you will get also Lada stamp on the envelope.
