This tag is commemorative item given to premium members of the InTatters Online Tatting Guild.
The design features a scan of a tatted lace motif that was created by one of our members from a design by the late Mary Konior.
Tatting reached it's peak in the Victorian times, but recently has enjoyed a resurgence.
A very strong lace, it will not unravel when cut. Is made using a simple shuttle about an inch and a half long and a ball of thread.
Mary Konior was a prolific designer known for her clear instructions and beautiful, useful designs that tatters keep going back to.
